Creating Events

Create an event
- To create an event, select “Events” from the navigation bar and then “Create Event.”
- Fill in the fields accurately. This information will go onto the record of any student that works on the event.

Once you’ve filled in all the fields, click the
Create Event
button.
About Event Dates and Times
This feature relies on HTML5s datetime-local input element. As such, in browsers such as MacOS Safari this is not supported (however it is on iOS Safari, of course!). If you are on a device which does not support this element, a placeholder with the correct format (yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm - i.e. 2019-10-03T12:01) will appear and please complete the date in that format.
Pay rate
Pay rates can be set to Student Rep or Student Ambassador rate.
Team
Select the team that is organising the event. If the team you require is missing from the list, please contact your scheme coordinator. Staff can only see their team’s events in the system. Administrators and Super Admins can view all events in the system.
Selecting staff
Staff who are selected for an event will receive all emails associated with that event, including job allocation and cancellation emails. Use the CTRL/CMD key to select multiple staff. Depending on your access level, you may only be able to see staff in your team.
